Project Description
This self‑initiated project was part of an Elementor tutorial course and it allowed me to deepen my Elementor skills by bringing a fictitious restaurant brand to life online. From scratch, I developed the restaurant’s visual identity — including logo, custom color palette, typography, and icon set — and then designed and built a fully responsive WordPress/Elementor website to match. Although the overall page structure followed the tutorial’s guidance, I authored every bit of homepage and menu content to craft an authentic dining narrative. The result is a cohesive, mobile‑responsive demo that reflects both my growing Elementor proficiency and my ability to establish a distinct brand voice.
Goal
Within the scope of an Elementor training class, my goal was to apply learned techniques to a real‑world scenario by building a restaurant site that blends tutorial‑based layouts with my own branding work to demonstrate end‑to‑end brand development and refine my front‑end skills.
Approach
Following the step‑by‑step guidance of the Elementor course, I first sketched a restaurant concept and assembled a moodboard to define tone, then selected a warm, appetizing color palette with complementary accent hues. Next, I chose typography that balances readability with personality and drew custom icons to represent menu categories. I translated the ideas into a live WordPress build using Elementor. Throughout, I authored all on‑page copy, ensuring each dish description, and headline matched the brand voice.
Challenges
Parsing the course material while inventing believable menu content and refining the color scheme required balancing the tutorial’s pace with my own creative decisions.
Results
The finished demo is a fully responsive restaurant website that I’m proud to showcase in my portfolio. Through this process I significantly boosted my Elementor fluency and solidified my understanding of end‑to‑end brand design. The project demonstrates my capacity to blend tutorial‑led layouts with original logo, color, typography, and content creation — now I'm ready to adapt for real‑world clients.
